The National Sports Council has issued directives as to how sports can be restarted during RMCO. Polo practices may be played, as long as it is socially distanced, both on and off the field.

As no contact is allowed, the Royal Malaysian Polo Association has formulated guidelines for contactless polo, based on the covid-19 inspired amendments that the Hurlingham Polo Association has introduced in the U.K.
