Dear Patrons and Players,

We are all feeling the loss of the passing of KDYMM Almarhum Paduka Ayahanda Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah ibni Al Marhum Sultan Abu Bakar Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mu’adzam Shah, who was a founding father of the RMPA.

Almarhum Paduka Ayahanda Tuanku Sultan was passionate about the sport of polo and played an important role in the development of polo in Malaysia, the region and internationally.

With respect to the passing of our Patron, Al Marhum Paduka Ayahanda Sultan Hj Ahmad Shah, the Royal Malaysian Polo Association has decided to mark his passing by suspending all the games scheduled to be run by the RMPA for the rest of the 2019 season.

All the patrons have agreed to sit out the high goal season for 2019.

Clubs may, however, continue to organise polo as they see fit.

The Royal Malaysian Polo Association extends our deepest condolences to His Majesty Sri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertuan Agong and the Pahang Royal Family.
